The team at Horkan's have opened a new retail garden centre on the Bundoran Rd in Sligo. The new site is very close to the town centre and is designed as an all weather garden centre with lots of covered space keeping the customer dry and happy.
Peter Horkan is the new manager in our Sligo branch, Peter of course is well known by all our Castlebar customers having spent many years as plants manager in Castlebar.
Peter is a graduate of the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin and an excellent plants man. He will be assisted by Mairead Horkan another veteran of our Castlebar centre.
Mairead is a qualified florist and has managed the interior section of our Castlebar centre for many years.
We wish both Peter and Mairead every success in Sligo and no doubt they will become familiar faces around Sligo's brighter locations.New faces in our Castlebar Centre.
The new garden centre manager in Castlebar is Finbarr Ryan; Finbarr is a native of Dublin and has gained wide experience in the retail industry.
Finbarr will be working with our existing team in Castlebar to keep up and develop the high standards to which you have become accustomed to.
Horky's team welcome Finbarr's involvement and commitment and hopefully you the customer will make Finbarr feel right at home in Castlebar.
Finbarr has already been mistaken for one of the Horkans with his youthful looks and bright red hair.Weekly gardening radio programme on N & MWR.
Join us every Saturday on our weekly gardening programme with Mid and Northwest Radio stations. The programme is broadcast live at 10:10 to 11:00am every Saturday morning and covers Donegal, Sligo, Mayo, Roscommon and Galway.
