Strong growing Italian Flat Leaved (Plain leaved) parsley, Parsley Prezzemolo Gigante d'Italia is indispensable for a huge range of dishes, sauces, salads and as garnish. Dark green leaves stand well in condition without yellowing; good winter hardiness.

Seeds of parsley are very slow to germinate, especially in very wet, cold soils. For this reason it may be best to sow in pots or trays during March and April under protection where a minimum temperature of 15C can be maintained. Keep soil just moist. Sowing seeds outdoors must be delayed until the soil temperature is at least 15C, normally during April and May. In very mild climates sowings can be made in the autumn and overwintered.

To help retain moisture and good temperatures the seedbed can be covered by fleece. Thin plants to 15cm apart and keep watered during dry weather and feed with a nitrogen fertiliser to encourage continued production of leaves for cutting.

Can also be sown regularly through spring and summer, on the windowsill, for fresh leaves throughout the year.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund the cost of the item (excluding shipping). The items to be returned or exchanged have to be unused, in their original condition, in their original box and properly labeled.
