Courgette Soleil is a superb garden variety. Plants in our trials remained healthy and were slower to succumb to mildew than any other courgette variety, thus extending the harvesting period. The bushy plants of Courgette Soleil produce a huge number of smooth, straight, delicious, yellow courgettes, adding colour to your meals. Early maturing fruits and long harvest season if cut regularly. Seeds are in the RHS Vegetable Collection.

Sow seeds mid April to June under glass to transplant outdoors. Sow mid May to early June outdoors.


Sow seeds 2cm (¾in) deep in 7.5cm (3in) pots of good seed compost. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag and place at 21-25C (70-77F) until after germination which takes 5-7 days. Can also be sown direct outdoors once the soil has warmed and risk of frost has passed, 2.5cm (1in) deep at 75cm (30in) apart each way.

Gradually acclimatise plants to outdoor conditions for a few days before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 75cm (3in) apart each way.

Feed with potash fertiliser once fruiting commences. Water and pick fruits regularly.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund the cost of the item (excluding shipping). The items to be returned or exchanged have to be unused, in their original condition, in their original box and properly labeled.
