Forms an attractive rosette of green leaves and a small heart if grown to maturity, but Chicory Cicoria Grumolo Verde is often sown as a 'cut and come again' salad leaf.

The seeds of this variety are sown quite thickly from May to August to produce a cut and come again salad until late October. Can also be sown thickly under glass all year round for 'salad leaves'.

After frosts cut down foliage, leave until March when new growth will appear and form rosettes of exceptional flavour. As these will often be the first fresh chicory to be harvested in early spring they are much appreciated. By cutting with a small piece of root, the flavour will be enhanced. Can also be cut later when small heads have formed.

We deliver anywhere in Ireland and Northern Ireland for a flat rate cost of €4.90 up to 30 kg. Should your order be in excess of 30kg, we will notify you in advance of the shipping cost.

Deliveries are dispatched on the next working day after the order has been placed, and you should receive your order within 2 - 5 working days. In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will notify you immediately to inform you of any possible delays.

Please check the contents of your package on arrival. Should any items be damaged during shipment, it is important that you notify upon opening the package. Also, please keep all packaging materials from the shipment.

Returns

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, simply return it within 7 days of delivery and we'll replace it or refund the cost of the item (excluding shipping). The items to be returned or exchanged have to be unused, in their original condition, in their original box and properly labeled.
